Jayne Mansfield’s Dream Home

In 1958, Jayne Mansfield spent $75,000 redecorating the Holmby Hills home she shared with her husband Mickey and her daughter Jayne Marie. Some of Jayne’s improvements included covering the walls of one of the bathrooms with pink fur. She had a heart-shaped fireplace put in the living room and a heart-shaped pool in the backyard. The front gates were painted pink. The master bedroom had pink tinted mirrors and a Texas-size bed which is twice the size of a king sized bed. The house also had an elevator and stone fountain in the living room. Jayne said she’d created her dream home.
