Star-Struck Dog

While filming She Wore a Yellow Ribbon in 1949, director John Ford was trying to shoot an outdoor scene in Utah but every time the camera started rolling, a stray dog would run into the scene and sit in front of actor, Victor McLaglen. Crew would chase the dog away but as soon as the scene started again, the dog would run back over to McLaglen. Eventually Ford gave up trying to chase the dog away and wrote it into the picture.
