Clark Gable Envy

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Father Gable

Monday, July 11th, 2011

In 1935 a young minister from Hopedale, Ohio travelled to Hollywood for the purpose of recruiting Clark Gable to his church. He designed a 21-page book of arguments to convince Clark to give up his “sinful” work in the movies and become an Evangelist minister. He was unable to get in contact with Gable, but left his book of arguments at his home. Clark Gable never took him up on his offer.
